Strand Davis Enterprises is owned and operated by Evan and Virginia Strand Davis.  I (Evan) have worked in professional mime theater, been a commercial fisherman, worked for many years teaching English both in the United States and overseas, and currently work with the Medicare program in Iowa.  My wife, Virginia, is a biochemist, nutritionist, and freelance science editor.

For the past several years, we have, as well, used the Internet to supplement our income.  Recently, we decided to start Strand Davis Enterprises to make up for the lack of premium, low cost, custom website services and programming available in our local area, Iowa City, for the "mom and pop" work at home business owner.  Of course, we reach out to the world and can provide services to large commercial enterprises, but the real motivation for this business stemmed from our frustration over the lack of local availability of such services as custom programming and scripting, search engine optimization, website design and integration with data base applications, and custom ecommerce development.  Thus, the inception of SDE, where we hope to provide you with a safe and secure zone of reliability and predictability for the development and realization of your projects.
